What difficulty can you encounter with a dog?

There are two categories of dogs, the dominant dog and the gentle dog who enjoys human company. The dominant dog always tries to mark its territory. He seeks to gain control over whoever is in front of him through intimidation. He thus makes sure that the latter is really his master. It is therefore up to the dog handler to bring him to order. The tone used is decisive for the rest of the cohabitation.

Has a dog ever rebelled against you?

Yes, once my dog was sick. He was replaced by another very aggressive. When I arrived at the site the dog was already tied up, he tried to intimidate me. Have you ever faced a difficult situation that was resolved with dog intervention?

Yes, on my site, there are often delinquents who come with clubs or stones and want at all costs to have access to the site. I use the dog to intimidate them. One day one of these delinquents wanted to break in, I dropped the dog on him and he fled.

What is your fondest memory from your years with dogs?

My fondest memory comes from a German Shepherd who was entrusted to me to monitor a site. The thing that stood out to me is that the dog that used to defecate anywhere after my training has stopped. When he wants to defecate, he comes to me with movements that we dog handlers know. And even when I ignore him, he persists until I lead him to where he needs to go.

Can you tell us how you joined the team?

I was a security guard in a local company and not being satisfied with the salary treatment I decided to leave. It was then that I received information that Gardian's was recruiting. I was already a dog handler so I applied. I've been there now for 03 years.
